I only got to watch the first period as I played a late, 2 HOUR, pick up session. Man am I gonna be sore....

Looking at the box score, it would seem getting last change really helped. I wonder who was on the ice for the Wings when the PP goals were scored? Was Zetterberg able to get out there?

Helm... Good. CLEARY. WOW. That guy does it all and is all over the place. First Newfie in the NHL, IIRC. But he DOES speak normal English, I heard him do a interview. LOL

    First Newfie in the NHL
Not the first to play - but the first to have his name engraved on Lord Stanley's Cup.

OH, Do I sense a little bravado!

One more Pens win, Best of three - and two overtime games.

And a partridge in a pear tree!

I was referring to last year - 2008 - when the Wings won and Dan Cleary became the first Newfie to have his name engraved. The whole population of Newfoundland turned out when he brought the cup "home" with him.

Doh! My bad. Looking at the list of players from Newfoundland, its a big list. I did not know that Micheal Ryder was from St. Johns... Ya learn something new everyday.

    Thanks Grace.
