Early Monday morning I was starting to load things in my car for our trip to my grandson's third birthday party. On one of my trips to the car I noticed a widdle bunny making her nest in my front yard. Honestly, I wish she hadn't chosen this place, but we will be very careful mowing.
The whole time I was filming she knew I was right there. I am not using a zoom lens. I was maybe, at most three feet from her.The nest, at this moment (Wednesday) is covered with grass. No one would ever know that she is inside now with, I assume, little ones.
Enjoy!
Sorry they are so big!

Huney, Bon & Simba-missed so very much
Probably not! LOL! This morning the nest is still covered in grass. I don't know if she came out overnight and then fixed the entrance or if she is still in there. I will watch it closely. Over the years that I have lived here I have seen a few bunny nests in the back yard but never got to watch them being made. It was just fascinating!

That is just awesome, Pam! I love the way she tears away the grass and carries it in her little mouth. So cute!!! Thanks for sharing that. I've really learned something today.
