Well, beware that the documentary is very difficult to watch, rather like a car accident that you can't turn away from. You just have to look. It made me very sad and I felt like a voyeur into the lives of severely dysfunctional people but yet I just had to keep watching. The movie (w/Drew Barrymore) about the documentary is much easier viewing. The movie will more than likely be available for purchase soon enough.

One thing that's very disturbing is the amount of cats that they had and the cats peed and pooped everywhere and right in front of them, too. They left it all there for years to accumulate and the smell and dilapidation of the house prompted neighbors to call authorities and that's what prompted the documentary.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Yeah - I know that feeling of morbid fascination - don't want to look but can't turn away. I think a lot of folks experienced that with 9/11 - I know I did. Don't want to see it, but keep watching in hopes that it really isn't real.

I took my nieces and nephew to see Hannah Montana the Movie yesterday. I don't know how in the world families afford doing that. I enjoyed the movie and the afternoon, but for the 4 of us, I spent over $40 for matinee tickets, a large popcorn and drink that we shared, and then I took them to Taco Bell. It made me glad that I'm single without children.

Since I'm alone on Mothers' Day, (my son lives in CA and I in OH) I watched a movie called "The Nanny Diaries." It made me realize how truly fortunate I am to have raised my son and to have such a good one. Sadly, some people choose to allow others to raise their children and this movie drives that point home. It was cute but poignant.

Werd! I have always been a Trekkie, though. A closet Trekkie. :3

I watched Because I Said So last night. Me and my friend had some wine coolers (woo!) and watched it, and it was shockingly entertaining! Horrible Mandy Moore acting and all. Omg, the orgasm conversation was hilarious.
