Well, he had to stay overnight last night because he wouldn't give them a urine sample, but after all is said and done, he does have kidney failure. It looks like we're dealing with a special diet, fluids once a month, and Pepcid. Samson is home now and seems to be settling back in just fine. It's been kind of quiet (at least in the kitty department) while he's been gone.
Sorry to read about Samson.. Sure hope he gets better real soon.. Sending lots of Prayers & Huggss..

I've never had a kidney kitty, but I know several have had to deal with that on here. Several do very well for years with the diet change and fluids. It seems you must have caught it fairly early since the fluids are once a month. I hope Samson gets to stay with you for many more years.
