No Sandie this not a Salamander.. They are water lizards.. This is a garden lizard or a geico.. I have two families of them that live around my back porch & in the oak trees.. Yes they drive my cats nuts too.. Wait till one gets in the house with the kitties.. Yup thats lots of fun too..
