Oh, and I just told mom and dad about where he is going to be living, and they're ok with it. My mom is familiar with the place and the family that owned/owns it and said to just stay out of trouble basically, and that you have freaky people anywhere, lol.

OH and we're meeting each other's parents this weekend! This is a big step!

Exactly what should I wear to that one?! What kinds of pjs are they going to be wearing?!
    Or not wearing? Hmmm...
Elyse's embarrassing "clothing optional" moment... on a Carnival cruise, fall 1998. At the back of the pool deck is a staircase leading up to another, smaller deck. I'm thinking that would be a great spot from which to take a picture facing the front of the ship, so I head up the stairs and - Whoops! Clothing-optional sunbathing ahead! No wonder people were giving me funny looks as I headed up those stairs in my T-shirt, shorts, baseball hat, socks and sneakers. What a dork! I very quickly snapped the photo and high-tailed it out of there. Found out later that on the first day the ship sails, that little deck is not clothing optional, so that would have been the day to get the photo.

[QUOTE=jenn_librarian;2138933]Ok where to start....I'm keeping this above boards, so you'll have to read between the lines on some things, lol....
There were some real swingers there, no kidding. I mean, I couldn't keep up with who was with whom. And the one old lady, and I swear she was 80 if she was a day, she would go in the back with a guy, come back out 30 mins. later, wait at the end of the hallway, and take another guy back. This happened like 4 times in the 3 hrs we were there. .....
admirable stamina that woman. now jenn, have you had the safe sex/aids test & talk yet with the new boyfriend?

Well, meeting the parents went ok. His mom and step dad were really nice. They treated me like I had been there for years. I liked that. His mom put me to work in the kitchen, and it felt great to help.

My parents were good. My dad was great, my mom... eh. She was just grumpy as usual and was having fits because my dad took Dave down to see his gun collection in the basement (heaven forbid visitors go to the basement, lol). His kids were really good, chatty and nervous, but really good. I adore them so much.

This weekend is the pj party. I bought a top that is like a cami, so it's not too far from my comfort zone, and a pair of really cute cheeky panties, and some killer sandals, lol. I just need to get there and feel comfy and I'll be ok. OH, and I'm hooking up one of my friends with one of our friends from there for the party too, lol. It should prove to be interesting!

    WELL, I've missed a thread and a half here, haven't I??

I saw this when it started, but figured it was just one party - this is a relationship! All I can say is you're braver than I am! My husband and I attended some pretty wild parties in college, but none compare! As for the 80 year old hosting rounds in the back room - yuk.

You're very comfortable in your own skin (no pun intended ), and that's a good thing. Have a great time and keep us posted - it's very entertaining!

Will have to update tomorrow when I have more time at work and can recollect what went on and try to remember. I'll PM a few of you since we have to keep things clean and family friendly. Yay.

    ok... so where to begin.

I ended up taking a friend with me this weekend. I had arranged a blind date for a friend up there and thought that my friend might be a good match. Eh. It went ok, but not as expected, but I hope they can stay friendly and still enjoy eachother's company (yeah, they both swing/party or whatever you want to call it). Setting up blind dates for swingers is harder than I thought it would be. Both sides are so picky!!

We all had dinner out on the deck. It was gorgeous here on Saturday. Sunny and almost 80*. We had steaks on the grill, roasted veggies, some crusty bread, wine, beer, and good conversation and company.

We ended up getting changed at Johnny's place for the party. So much for me being shy and wanting to change in private. I had enough beer in me that I didn't care, and was just like, whoosh... there it goes, lol. So, we got ready, went to the party, and actually everyone except for a few really were wearing pjs and robes and lingerie kind of things. It was very relaxed and calm, and NOTHING like the first party. Actually it was a little too tame and boring for me, but better that than scary, lol. Had some more to drink, flirted with a few of the men there, lol, and then we went back to Johnny's to hot tub. It was a really nice evening all the way around!

I so enjoy spending time with Dave. He's just so sweet and funny. I'm feeling pretty comfortable up at the resort, so this is going well. I haven't gone nude outside yet, and I don't know when that will happen, but right now the pace is pretty good for me. One thing I will say is that if Dave has his kids with him, I will not disrobe. I just don't think that is cool. For the pool, that's one thing, because at the pool there you are NOT allowed to wear anything in it, but other than that, I don't think I would do it. I know they are used to it, but still.... just not what I think would be appropriate at this junction.

If anyone wants more details, I can PM you, lol. Other things happened, but I'd rather not talk about them on the open forum.

I'll let you know if there is a next party, or if it's just going to start up regular since the season begins in about 3 weeks, so it should get moving almost every weekend at that point.
