4. I play piano very badly (never practiced as a kid) but handbells well!

6. I have hand-fed a wild(ish) swan, and had an ostrich and emu eat from my hand

7. I have gotten giraffe drool on the roof of my car - the mark was still there when that car went to the junkyard in the sky!

9. If your call says "unknown name," I will not answer it!

10. All my names have 5 letters in them! That wasn't the case before I married Paul, though.

11. I would rather draw than paint

12. I would rather paint or draw than embroider.

13. I cannot knit -- I just ruin the yarn.

14. I found a mechanical pencil shaped like a bomb - complete with tail fins - in my basement

15. I remember animal sightings as landmarks - even years later - like "there's where we saw the coyote!"

17. My monitor stand is a Macintosh Quadra 700 CPU

18. On it, as well as my monitor, are 5 bunnies, 19 turtles, Snoopy and Woodstock, a butterfly, a kangaroo, a dimetrodon, a boomerang, and some sea glass

23. I live on the Boston Marathon route, but only went down to watch it once, when my friend was running

24. Because of #2, I no longer get motion sick! This is very exciting.

25. I have no phobias. (I dislike slugs, but it's not strong enough to be a phobia.)

26. I intensely dislike shoe shopping

27. I love getting mail - don't even mind junk mail - if it has animal pictures

28. I love to sing, and can cover tenor, alto or soprano - so really have to pay attention and remember what part I am supposed to be singing sometimes
