I haven't had them in a while.
I think the outside is supposed to be kind of hard but the nut 'per se', less hard.....

LOL... I didn't mean it like that smarty pants.

I mean she really had a dislike for those two items she would only put up with them for about 5 minutes. her favorite thing was being laid in her boppy pillow... you're right... she's not typical. she's strange lol

I am teasing you! Hannah reminds me of my youngest she was easy then and she is still easy.

Ty loved both! He absolutely loved his swing, he would nap in it and just swing in it for long periods of time. It was so wonderful and I think I cried when he outgrew it

The bouncer was also nice though, and it's more portable. It's not easy to take the swing from one room to another, so you might want both. If you get a bouncer make sure to ask for one that vibrates and plays music!

Katherine loved her bouncer and her swing. I agree with pretty much everything JenBKR just said. Our swing was theoretically the portable kind, but I wouldn't advise getting that kind. It just didn't hold up. We're going with the full-sized kind this time around. The bouncer was a lot more portable. She napped in both quite often.

All-American Baby http://www.all-americanbaby.net/ is all american made. I don't know a whole lot about them, and I don't have anything from them, so I can't personally vouch for them. It's pretty expensive though.
