    No kidding!

Your comment about finally going to Cooperstown reminds me of a call I was on with a computer tech guy, years ago. He was from Detroit and we were talking about landmarks and such...

I asked, 'Have you ever been to ---------?"

He laughed and said, "No, it's never been over to see me!"

When you watch YOUR team lose, why is it like re-living an old love that went wrong?

    LOL,

Now I know why people equate 'getting to first base' with women, etc. with baseball.

    Oh Richard . . . . .

    Saturday night - ESPN Classic - 8pm - 10pm.

October 17, 2004, Game 4 of the ACLS between the Yankees and Red Sox. Sox lost the first 3 games.

Wait until the bottom of the 9th when it all turns around . . . . .

I am soooo ready. The first Cubs Spring Training game is in about six weeks.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

    LOL, Don't patronize me!

    I am getting antsy

The World Classic final are at Dodger Stadium, but I suspect that the ducats are out of reach for the 'working stiff', like us.

    -----------

Last night the Dodger ownership sold tickets to a Night Under the Stars at D Stadium.

You could participate on every part of the baseball experience- Batting practice, fielding, pitching the the bullpen, hitting in the cages...

500 dollars a ticket. I don't know how many people took up the offer!

I want to see Manny come back, but his agent is Scot Bore-Arse.

That guy is a SOB and a conniving piece of turd. He's what is wrong with baseball.

Do you remember the guy that owned the L.A. Kings and went to jail for all kinds of stuff? I cannot remember his name......I get that same feeling from Frank McCourt-the LAD's owner. HE's too skeezy.

He also bought the 'rights' to the El Lay Marathon......I cannot stand him or his Vice Prez wife.

Bruce McNall is the name you can't remember. He was a piece of work, no question.

Did you see this article about Manny and Scott?

LOVELY- You had to embarrass me and know McNall's name!

Boras is a tough sell and I do not blame him for trying to make money for his
    clients.

But, he's a greedy shmuck and it's his greed that makes any player he represents nothing more that a mercernary with a bat.

    Sad days indeed.

Not to worry. I'm older than you, so my long term memory box is larger than yours - thus can hold more items of total irrelevance
