Nah - Sara's prerogative - after all that poking and prodding, she deserved the good stuff, mom!

Where we'll go from here, I honestly don't know.
And what's the 'penalty' for taking a wait-n-see posture?
With maybe a little pain medication to ease any discomfort.

She's been on DGP for a little while now, "just in case" there's pain.

IF it is a sheath tumor, gradual worsening/atrophy of the leg and amputation. I believe the new vet said, depending on the extent of the tumor's feelers, it might be possible to save the limb.

But again, this is assuming that it is a sheath tumor. There are a couple of other (unlikely) things it could be; there's just no way to be certain without seeing a neurologist.

We have the new report to drop off to our regular vet, Monday. We'll talk to him and go from there.

Sara and mom/dad are off to the neuro whitecoat(s) Feb 19th. They are staying 2-3 days; tests the first part, procedures (if any) the latter.

If you don't mind, please pray for safe travels, conclusive answers, and safe, effective corrections that are essentially pain free. Thank you so very, very much.
