One of the best moments of this show was stopping in front of a MIG-a Russian fighter that some rich guy bought, restored and would fly it from airshow to airshow...
Two Russian kids (about 20 years old) stopped me and my airshow pal and asked us to take their picture in front of the plane.
They handed me the camera, posed for two shots and as I handed them back the camera, one told me -with a giant smile on his face- "Never thought you'd see a Russian plane at an American airshow?"
We all laughed because we knew how strange it was that so much was made during the time we were all enemies. Now we were just airshow junkies, sharing a day looking at airplanes!
