Fantastic pictures!
These are great- and it is even colder up there where you are than it is here.
What river is it? The Fulda, the Werra or the Weser?
Here the lakes are nicely frozen and everyone skates and plays ice hockey but the rivers are not in the slightest.
The poor duckies will get cold feet.
Hope you had a nice hot chocolate after your photo expedition.
Wow, what beautiful pictures! And you live in a really nice area.I hope you briught some bread for the ducks.

Thanks.Yes, I got really cold fingers from taking the pics! LOL
Barbara, it's the river Fulda, but only 100 or 200 metres before it unites with the Werra.
Randi, I should really do that! When I was down there today, several people came with bread to feed the ducks. They looked like they played ice hockey with the crumbs. Looked funny, but I'm sure this weather is no fun at all for all these birdies.

Fantastic pics!! All lakes and some rivers are frozen here too! We used to live right in front of a popular lake (Overmere-Donk), and today my son and his girlfriend went iceskating on it!! It is +/- 16 km from where we live now.
