I also had a cat that used to do this - but only after pooping in the litter box - but not every time. I always attributed it to him just feeling better. My ex used to sing an old commercial whenever he saw the cat do this. Remember the old Alka Seltzer commercial? - "plop, plop, fizz, fizz - oh what a relief it is"!!!!!
