Should Walmart sell wine?

Oh wow - thanks Karen! I doubt that we will be seeing that here though. I am always surprised to see alcohol in grocery stores and gas stations in the south. Here in good 'ol PA, you have to go to a distributer or state store!

New York may start selling wine in grocery stores. We now sell beer. The Gov is looking for more things to tax!

Awww - shucks!!!! Can't buy wine or beer in grocery stores in Delaware. It's only sold in liquor stores or in restaurants to be consumed with a meal!

Liquor and beer are controlled by the Commonwealth here in PA. We've still got a bunch of "dry" counties as well.

Sigh.

All I can get at the 7-11 here is a slurpee.


Hey Blue, I've had a wine called "Pink Truck" before, it wasn't too bad. I like to try wines that have interesting names. Have a had few that were nasty, but for the most part, not too bad! I did have one called "Fire Hydrant Red" before, and that was just really nasty!! It was like vinegar, lol.

That's correct! And no state tax on anything either. How bizarre is that??
I love it!!! If I buy something for $2.99 - it's $2.99 - period! It's so annoying when I make a purchase out of state and have to wait till they ring up that one item to see what it's actually costing me.
