Thanks to you all for your lovely comments, concern and prayers.

Report yesterday was that although the diarrhoea is still present it has lessened somewhat and Holly seems to be feeling a lot better. She is no longer sleepy and lethargic but following everyone around the way kittens do and continuing to love her food.

What a cutie, she is! I'm glad to hear she has started eating and is feeling better. Your DIL will have years of fun and antics from her.

Do you know why she was taken from her mom so early and put in foster care?

Aww, she is such a pretty kitty. Sometimes, when they change their house at that age, it happens for no apparent reason, but they get better soon.

She is going to be lots of fun, she looks promising

    Thanks Randi.
No, Randi, I hardly know anything about her history, just that they got her from Cat's Protection and there were a number of other kittens to choose from. I think my family knows a lot more but I haven't enquired.

Oh wow.... Holly is absolutely adorable! That's great news that she's showing interest in her food and is starting to be active as every baby should be. Even though Holly is showing positive improvement, please encourage your DIL to be sure Holly is seen by the vet just to be sure she's getting better and above all else to avoid any other problems.

    Many prayers are being prayed!

I hope she continues to improve. While tiny Holly seems to have a lot of purrsonality and I think this will help her to pull through.

Oh what a precious little doll Holly is. When any of my widdle rescues had diarrhea, I always fed them Baby Gerbers Chicken and mixed in Baby's Rice Cereal to make a wet paste. I fed them about a tablespoom of this 4-5 times a day for about a week. The rice cereal helps bind their stools. After the diarrhea was under control, I would gradually lessen the formula and add kitten wet food. Just wanted to let you know in case you ever come across another sick widdle one.

I'm very happy to hear that Holly is improving and pray that she continues to do so.
