Our gatherings are always fun! The food is always great - Staci also made chicken tortilla soup, Amy made some little great tasting finger rolls (just don't pick the green ones - they have jalepeno peppers in them - water, please, WATER!), Anna had some roast beef for sandwiches and I brought brownies and spinach dip. Oh, I could hardly get up off the couch to leave!
And those 3 young-uns, they can sure make us old folk laugh! The kitties and pup made us feel more than welcome. Keegan, please get off my feet, I can't feel them anymore! Keegan, Kylie was here first. No, I don't love her better. I just want to pet her. No, Keegan, no you are not a lap dog! Keegan, you can't have my brownie! ahh, Keegan, you love me don't you?
As for bringing more dogs into that little house, well, it might not have been so good of an idea especially with most of the dogs not being around cats too much. Could have gotten way more exciting than we would have wanted it to be.
And as for the race, Staci and I rolled our eyes a few times as the other two talked about some of the race drivers we never heard of - and even about some we have heard of. Those two girls have one track minds - and Mark had to get in on it by texting Anna messages for her and/or to pass on to Amy. If it had been my house, I would have told them all four tvs were broken and the radios didn't have batteries!
So when are we getting together again, girls, next weekend at my house. Let me think where I can send, Christy, Carl and the kids!
