Waiting is so hard! I hope that it is something that is not serious and she will be just fine.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Cincy is doing well...relaxing mostly tonight. I only fed her 1/2 her dinner, and she has not begged for more, so you know she isn't feeling exactly there yet!
Ralph said when he bought her home, Sadie brought a tennis ball and dropped it by her. It is amazing how in tune the 3 of them are with each other!
Amy I'm glad she's home and doing fine. I'll be saying a prayer that the test comes back benign.
(((HUGS))) to Cincy
Huney, Bon & Simba-missed so very much
Remembering all the Rainbow Bridge Pets
Cincy is still doing well...she isn't thrilled about the E-collar while we are gonet o work, but doesn't seem to mind the no-bite in the evenings. She is wanting to play, but they said she couldn't return to "normal" activity levels for 3 days...I guess that means tonight I can let her loose!
I did feel like a bad mommy this morning when I realized I had not given her any pain meds...but she certainly has not acted at all like she has needed them, jumping on and off the bed and couch, and trying to chase Spot! She is a tough little thing!
Still waiting to hear results of the biopsy...
Thanks guys.
The closer it gets, the more nervous I get. Not so much about the actaully surgery (although that does always make you nervous!), but about how invasive it may be and what recovery will be like for her. I hate to see anything slow her down...but not as much as she does![]()
{{{{{HUGS}}}}} and more well wishes that all goes good on the 9th. I'm still keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Feel better Cincy!!

Thanks Barry!
Cincy is home and relaxing. Surgery went well. They took a section about 4 cm wide and 6 cm long, down to bone/tendon depth. They used skin form around the area to suture the area and you would never know! It sealed up great and looks like it will heal up nice.
There was one small area of concern, but the vet was able to take enough tissue in all directions around it, he did not feel the need to send it out for biopsy.
She is stuck wearing a cone for at least two weeks and is supposed to take it easy for 1-2 days, but otherwise good to go. The area is double sutured and that comes out on Janurary 24th.
Thank you again for all the thoughts and prayers. They sure do work!
Hey, at least it's January, so it's too cold outside for her to want to be TOO active for too long.
Cincy, the "lowrider" song has been running through my head all day, because I think of you as the "lowrider Labrador!"
"All my friends
Love the low rider
Low rider
Gonna get a little higher!"
Work that collar for all the sympathy you can get, sweetie!
