I used to play a game with my wonderful (R/B) kitty - Magic. I would get down on the floor behind a door and he would be on the other side of it.
I would reach around and wiggle my fingers and he would try to swat them. Each time I would place my fingers at a different level - and he won most of the time.

At the end of the game he would give me headbumpies and purr his head off.

    How I loved that boy!

Oh, gracious -- that reminds me so much of a game we played with our RB cat Murphy, which we called "Cat Arm". (Yes, I know that cats don't have arms -- but you get it.)

Either Murph or one of us would hide behind an open door, and my husband or I would lightly rub our fingers along the door frame right by the hinges. Suddenly, we'd be attacked by... CAT ARM. Murph would leap up and stick an entire front leg through the little opening between the door and the hinges -- and, God love him, he would do it again and again. That sweet little guy LOVED to play, and had many favorite games (including the sofa-back version of "Pop Goes the Head") that would keep him (and us) going for a long time!

I can't imagine a more wonderful guy than our Murphy, and am grateful we had him for 19 years!
There aren't too many bad spots that can't be made at least a little better by either a nap, a cat, or both.

Sorry but this title made me laugh. It made me think of the many dog/cat toys around the house who have no heads anymore. The last victim was a monkey. I saw one cat drag of a forelimb, another with a tail, a dog had the head, and the rest of the body is still being demolished. Eventually me and my sister find animal parts and stitch them together to make super monsters like Mr. Bearelephantsheepy Frog.
