    Is crazy:
-Taking from the people who have EARNED their money and their spot in life? I'm not in that class, other than I EARN what I recieve. Then GIVING that money to people who DON'T EARN what they have? Because this is aparently one of Obama's plans.
-Making people have socialized care - medically. You ALL know I'm riddled with this stupid Crohn's Disease. I'd NEVER, EVER take socialized care and I'm in an ER at least monthly! The care is bad enough as it is!!!!
-OKing partial birth abortion?? That is discusting!!!!! I give a crap WHO you are, its vatally mutaling a living thing!!! Abortion is A-OK with me, but that doesn't mean I personally would have it done and my disease is hereditary!
-Not voting or holding committee meetings when chairing the Iraq war committee??? Denying funding to the troops that are ALREADY in the Middle East????
-Attending a church with anyone remotely like Jeramiah Write (he could be orange with green polka dots, or PINK, my favorite color and I'd STILL believe that denying ANYONE their rights is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!)
-Proposing tax refunds/checks to the 40% of people that DON'T pay taxes!?!?!?
-And now....his little campaign is under investigation for getting campaign contributions that were NOT authorized or even asked for!! When people have called to complain and insist they be removed, his volunteers have the nerve to say, "well, are you sure you want that $2300 charge removed??"

Would you like me to go on? You're completely right, I'm uneducated, I don't spend ANY time researching the issues and I completely ignore the candidates. Seems like this is not me you're talking about as I haven't seen a post from you REGARDING THE ISSUES, just rude, accusatory statements when anyone fails to agree with YOU!

Since it seems I'm being attacked for who I am with no reason whatsoever, let me illustrate how open-minded and thoughtful (in that I think, as well as being concerned about people) I am. I am a Christian, always have been:

I want prop 8, to FAIL. I feel gay/lesbian people are MORE than deserving of being married legally. We deserve equal rights!!

I also am OK with abortion, but not partial birth because of how cruel and vicous it is.
Kelly, you definitely need to do alot more reading.

Do you know the US Health Care system is rated 37th in the world? After most every so-called "socialized" country in the Western World. Our system is number one -- in cost.

No one is attacking you for who you are any more than you are attacking Obama for who he is. People are questioning what you say -- not who you are. There is a difference.

    But you cannot say this...
I'm uneducated, I don't spend ANY time researching the issues and I completely ignore the candidates.
and then express strong opinions without being question. If you ignore what the candidates are saying...where are you getting your information?

The ignorance of our citizens regarding the health care system makes me want to crap my pants.

You want the government to stay out of your private lives, but allow them to dictate the length your hospital stays and what kind of treatment you receive.

    In effing credible.

Should I ever become ill and have no positive outlook, I'll pack up a bag and go for a long hike in the mountains rather than having to navigate the HC system.

So, it you get ill with something that could have been treated sooner, remember, It's what you wanted.

How long our hospital stays are, are already dictated. That's how they decide how much the insurance covers and all that happy stuff. "Your insurance pays for ___ number of days of care after the heart surgery." You're not going to be staying longer unless there's issues.

I worked in health care too. I did billing and collections.

Either way you look at it, it's dictated.

I also lived overseas and dealt with socialized healthcare. As a non-citizen (I was covered as I was a minor in Sweden). I never had an issue with it.

Not that we're Sweden, cause we're not. We're a lot larger. However, they did manage to handle their health care rather well.

So DRG means D*mned Regulatory Government?

I remember doing billing and coding and right in the ICD-9 book (what number are they up to now??) it would tell you how many days aftercare were covered by which procedure. So, if you had something done, and came in for a follow up, if there was a 10 day window, and you came in on day 11, the doc could bill a visit.

I guess DRG can mean whatever you want it to mean. It's all regulated. PPO, HMO... whatever. You get what you get by what the insurance will cover (or not cover), including length of hospital stay.
