Nothing quite like facts to put a fine point on an argument!

    Thanks Grace!

Let's see...who will say CNN is a tool of the leftie media?

While both sides are slinging the mud, the ratio is not even. According to CNN, 97% of the McCain ads are negative; 30% of the Obama ads are negative.
ANd CNN is an arbiter of equality how?

They have how many former high level dems working for them as "analysts"?

What % of ads are negative vs. positive is hardly an objective statistic. Speaking of which, there are lies, there are damned lies, and there are statistics.

    BINGO!! And the winner is . . . . . LH!!

First he said this -Both sides are slinging mud, they're equally guilty.

Now it is this - What % of ads are negative vs. positive is hardly an objective statistic.

    Last I looked 50 - 50 was fairly equal. 97 - 30, not so much.

It is an age old tradition...if you don't like the facts...disparage the fact giver! (aka...shot the messenger!)

and of course there is the question...
What % of ads are negative vs. positive is hardly an objective statistic.
Why not????? And if not THAT...then what?

I gently suggest you check some of your own spelling before criticizing others.

At least I tried to bring some funny with my critisism, instead of just talking down to others. Im sure you made fun of dyslexics in college, if not in high school as well.

ETA: I do understand making fun of dyslexics has become a national pasttime in the last 8 yerars that Shrub has been in office.

I don't think people would purposely make fun of someone with a learning disability, or a handicap. Well, adults, I should say. Kids can be mean, and are known to be bullies and antagonize those weaker than they are. Well, some adults do as well, but they just need their butts kicked.

I can make fun of my own problems, lol, and be self-deprecating, but that's not like making fun of someone else.

Once again, you are totally off base.

Very simply, whether the message is percieved as positive or negative largely depends on the audience.

Three parts to a message.....and the transmitter and the reciever are almost more important than the message itself when it comes to whether the message is recieved in a positive or negative manner.
