    A 14 and 14 for you (double).

Breathe! You don't want to have the ORC give you CPR!

Catnip tea for my gang please. I'd like some potato soup. Hurricane Ike will be dumping it's left overs on us and I want to be well fortified. Gustav gave me a leaky chimney vent. We will only get about 6 inches of rain from Ike though. (I'm hoping that's all we get anyway)

Thankfully nothing like the gulf will have to endure. A few prayers for all of them there too, if you don't mind.

Chai please, bartender! It's suddenly feeling like Autumn here, and a nice cup of chai and some of those cookies would be great!

We feel "back to school" season here in that when the colleges repopulate, there are suddenly many more cars on the roads, more students on cell phones wandering into traffic, fewer parkings spots anywhere ...

Labor Day weekend, we see a sudden glut of UHaul trucks on the turnpike, and know it's "that time" again!

Gee, everyone must be playing hookey today. It's cold and rainy, so I think it's a chili sort of day. I'll make two batches: carnivore and vegetarian.

At my first job, we had "chili dumps", aka Wapa-chili, where people would make chili and we'd mix them all together. It actually was better than it sounds!

That chili smells terrific! I'll have a big bowl and some coffee, too. It's rainy and damp in Pittsburgh.

Not unless he eats a Tic Tac first.

It's chilly here, so I'll have an Irish Coffee (light on the Irish; I have to drive home soon.)
