No lost and found for me! I believe I'm more lost than found at this point.

    My poison..hmmm...

Can I have milk and cookies? Haven't had that in ages and it seems to be a nice comfort type food while we're toasting the pets that are no longer with us in person.

Gosh, I didn't even see that the bar was open. I normally don't drink during the week, but what the heck.

Hey Dickie, I could use a large, tall, bloody mary with a skewer of prawns and cherry tomatoes...and please don't forget the garlic stuffed olives. Thanks.

Yes, it's wonderful that this website has been up for so long.

Gee when I think of Pet Talk I think of
    • dressing up at the airport
    • flower hat
    • how many PTers does it take to make lemonade
    • Zippy and the egg slicer
    • Peeps in the microwave
    • Gini and Laurie playing jacks
    • Mario....
    • field trips
I could go on and on but this is a bar for having phun, laughs, and remembering.

    Cheers to Paul and Karen.

Thanks - and newcomers, the only admission price to this virtual bar is you need to tell one (clean) joke. I'm not saying it has to be funny, but you've gotta try, anyway!

Blueberry cake! Whee! Last time I made that for a church function, I barely got a one-inch piece, so I'll take some here!

G'day All, and Happy Birthday Pet Talk.

    Something different Richard I think.

Aah, a sparkling shiraz, Seppelts 98 would do, and a slice of black forrest cake, perhaps some fresh strawberrys too, just to round out the palate.

I think some lox, bagels and a mimosa would hit the spot.

Here's a nurse joke. In 20 years of nursing I've heard some great ones, but I like this one because it's clean...
Patient: "Nurse, I just swallowed my pillow!"
    Nurse: "How do you feel?"
Patient: "A little down in the mouth."

My niece, who is 17, an honor student, and blonde, collects blonde jokes. This is her favorite.

    First experience horse riding

A blonde decides to learn and try horse back riding unassisted without prior experience or lessons. She mounts the horse with great effort, and the tall, shiny horse springs into motion.

It gallops along at a steady and rhythmic pace, but the blonde begins to slip from the saddle. Out of shear terror, she grabs for the horse's mane but cannot seem to get a firm grip. She tries to throw her arms around the horse's neck, but she slides down the side of the horse anyway. The horse gallops along, seemingly oblivious to its slipping rider.

Finally, giving up her frail grip, she leaps away from the horse to try and throw herself to safety.

Unfortunately, her foot has become entangled in the stirrup. She is now at the mercy of the horse's pounding hooves as her head is struck against the ground again and again. As her head is battered against the ground, she is mere moments away from unconsciousness or even death when Frank, the Wal-Mart manager runs out to shut the horse off.

It's rained steadily all day. Do we have a pot of coffee going?

Well Mayor, you'll just have to come out here to NY next summer, with a pick-your-own blueberry place right down the road, I think we picked about 10 pounds of berries and made at least 3 or 4 blueberry cakes not to mention blueberry pancakes.

So there, I posted which means I don't have to go to the L+F. I'll have an irish coffee and some coffee ring! It's getting to be that time of year when I feel like I need to bake something.

Thanks for the prayers for the job. Now is the waiting process. I had my interview on Friday and they called me today to see how the interview went and also to get employment references. I'm hoping this is a good sign. We'll know by the end of the week I hope.

Hey Richard are there any pancakes left for some reason I'm really hungry. I need to get to bed so I can get up in the morning and get munchkins ready for school.
