Foster Failing Update and Cuteness Warning

Well once again fostering has failed this family and we will be keeping our foster. Our baby turned out to be girl and not a boy. We have decided to name her "Jasmine". Her visit at the vet last week put her at 5 weeks and 1.2pounds. The rest of my gang has accepted her very well and almost everyone plays with her. Our 120 pound lab has appointed himself her guardian. He is obsessed with her and will not leave her alone. She is a pistol and has the most extraordinary personality. She plays endlessly like a baby until she passes out from exhaustion. She is loving, a purring machine, and little heathen at the same time. Watch out ankles and toes, she loves to attack. Here at some pictures of her from this evening.

I had a feeling that you might end up keeping her. She's such a cutie pie and I love how your dog has taken to mothering her. Congrats!!! Every household needs an orangie.

You didn't stand a chance! She's a real fuzz nugget and I love the pic of her w/your Lab. Labs are so sweet; I love their disposition. What's the great guardian's name?
    Blessings,

Buckley is our labs name and he is hanging around me as we speak. That's because Jasmine is sleeping next to me in the chair. He is watching her sleep. Buckley is so gentle with her. Last night when he came in the room, Jasmine ran up to him and kissed his nose. 1.2 pounds versus 120 pounds.

    AWW, YAY!

An orange girl, not as common. I found out when I adopted Scout (another orangie girl).

Glad you guys failed at fostering because I think Buckley would be heartbroken if she left now. Love the pictures.

Buckley has OCD called Jasmine. It is comical really and he adores her. She is the 7th kitty I have fostered and kept but no one has ever acted like her. She is so different. She is always in a constant of motion. She chases her 10 siblings all around this house pouncing on them and they are having a ball with her. None of my foster kittens have been as coordinated as she is at six weeks. She has no fear about climbing or jumping maybe because she has huge PAWS. At night when she is ready to wind down, she will nuzzle up under my neck and suckle (I have tiny hickies) and go to sleep purring the whole time. She is up here helping me type by attacking my fingers. Her love is helping me cope with what happened to Alex.

She is adorable, and we know all about an endless supply of energy. Our orange tabby Leo who is 10 mos old has been like that, there is something about orangies. And, I have heard also the orange girls are quite rare. Enjoy her!

Yup, this is when failure is a GOOD thing. She is adorable, it's no wonder why you failed fostering her.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
