Not at all!Personally I think they are easier to keep than a leopard gecko because they don't need supplemental heat. They like a moderate humidity, so I only have to mist them once or twice a day. If I miss a day or two, it's not the end of the world. I can mist them on a Friday, go away for the weekend, and they are perfectly fine when I check them on Monday.
I feed them every three days. They get a wet meal (dry gecko food mixed with water) mainly and I give them crickets occasionally.

Wow, they are so fascinating to me! How come Nimrod doesn't have a tail? Is he a different kind?

Nope! Nim dropped his tail a couple years back when something spooked him. They can drop their tails as a self defense mechanism, but unlike some lizards, cresteds don't grow their tails back. So he'll remain a frog butt.
