I got a phone call about an hour ago that NM MOM has been admitted to the hospital for a couple days. She has an infection in her GI tract.
No wonder she was feeling so bad!
So they are going to keep a close eye on her for a couple days.
Keep those prayers coming!

Not much to report other than what Staci has already said.

Mom's in a very sterile room at the hospital. They're giving her an iv and "stuff" (getting specific info from dad is like pulling teeth). Some of the "stuff" is to combat the nausea, the other is some form of antibiotic. They also did an xray and more bloodwork to see if anything else was going on; results are not back in yet.

Oh Zippy, I've got major LES here. I'm so sorry that your Mom is not doing well, but just know that with all these prayers going on she just has to get better and beat this disease.

NM mom is still in the hospital and really needs the prayers - she is having trouble breathing and they are suctioning her right now. Tonya is at work and I'm sure a nervous wreck so she doesn't know the details.
Last I heard she had c-diff in her stool which is HIGHLY contagious so that's probably why she's in isolation.

My sister used to get suctioned - and that is pretty nasty though necessary stuff.

I hope she gets over that infection and feels better soon!

Come on, MOM - tough this one out, and you'll be almost there!
