"Doing OK" is good!

Not to make lite of your Mom's situation, but MY Mom was often considered to be
"a bit ornery" - and she could certainly be "outspoken"!

Her regular Caregivers learned quickly that when Mom made up her mind about something,
"change" was not an option.

MANY was the time we'd (Cinder, Smokey, and I) escort Mom out to the Overlook at the
FAR end of the Retirement Village complex ... admittedly a bit of a hike
for two Dawgs and a lil ole Lady with a walker ...
If another resident would pass and ask Mom how she was 'enjoying her walk' ...
Her frequent reply was "Oh, my son and the dogs MAKE me come out here
'cause I like it so much."
I always *hoped* the other Inmates understood what she meant.

So get used to it, Richard - being "Ornery and Outspoken" is a right the Moms have earned.
