Last but certainly not least, Clay. We got a call about these people just moved here on a ranch and he was literally eating the chickens. They starved him because he ate the chickens.So we said okay we'll take him.. come to find out they abandoned him behind McDonalds during the darkest hour of the night and left a note saying what breed he is, his name and that he's good with cats, dogs, and kids.
I guess they didn't have the guts to bring him to the shelter.. they should have because abandoning an animal is a crime!!
He's about 6 years old and a golden retriever mix. He's awesome! I guess they think the chickens are more important than Clay. I understand people make a profit for selling eggs to the neighbors and what not but I still think it's a shame.
oh well Clay is better off with us! They don't deserve him. How could anyone abandon him? One look into his eyes and my heart melted!
