I think I found the escape route.
Chum showed me a spot where he could fit his head through.
It's just one broken tine in the wire ...
Fortunately, it was an easy repair!

Still doesn't explain why only he left and how he got to the front though!

If Franky got out through the hole Chum pointed out ...
Would he have been completely outside ALL the fences?

Could someone have found him and escorted him through the OUTER drive-in gate;
then closed him in the parking area as they left and closed the outer gate?

Or did he swipe the Gate Key from under the door mat?

yup, he would have been completely outside all the fences.

I have trouble picturing Franklin letting someone he didn't know catch him, but it's possible. It does look like he dug under the man gate. If he could get through that hole in the fence, he could wiggle under there. They are both pretty small spaces!
