Wow, those are great, Amy! Oh, Craig, where are yours? I am sure his are wonderful too but better? I'm more into monkeys than wolves but I loved ALL of them.

I had a great time in Utah and one of the really fun spots was the Hogle Zoo. Rather than a new thread I'll just hijack, bump, borrow Amy's great picture thread to post some more zoo images. I haven't had time to go through any, so they're pretty bad, unedited, and auto-resized by photobucket:

I think the previous pictures leads into these two perfectly:

And warning, to those of you with snake phobia, the last picture is a snake

Those are wonderful photos! I have to ask, what lens did you use? The quality is just amazing!

I'm glad that everyone else gets to enjoy a little bit of this zoo. They really are fun places to go and there's no lack of photo opportunities.

The lens that I shot all of my pictures with is a Pentax 50-200/4.0-5.6 DA. I think I may be alone in the Pentax DSLR group, but the body I use is a K10D.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed them!

Craig, yours turned out great, especially the Lynx close-up and the snake!
