I have seen this one in action: any stray grey hair on your clothes, regardless of source, can be passed off as "Oh, cat hair again," as if grey hair could never have come from one's OWN head!

    Interesting tidbit:

cats will be attracted to the person with the most contrasting clothing to their fur

case and point, I have 2 white cats and a light colored lilac point. Whenever hubby wears black clothes those 3 cats just flock to him and won't get off his lap!! (on the flip side the darker colored ones seem to flock to him when he wears white) ROFL

I think the thread states why white cats are good to own....any good reason is good enough.

The Edster is all about love too.

I can sit down in any chair and in less than a minute he's at my feet, ready to have his arse slapped vigorously or his is in my lap.

He don't drool, but he always steps on my bits.

My youngest brother isn't a cat fan but I love to see the look of distaste on his face when he gets sideswiped.

I'll have to remember the white hair line!

Theory about cat hair: She can somehow make it turn color just enough that it will show, no matter what I have on. Today I am wearing a grey sweater and I had to take the lint roller to it - to pick up brown (?!) cat hair. [Seriously- her coat gets a little more brown than grey as she spends time in the sun] And orange cat hair, from fur-nephew Milo? Forget it! Shows up on everything. It's a darn good thing I love that cat so much! I also hugged and snuggled him like crazy last time I was there, and I put on my coat without using the roller first. So, now the orange cat hair that was on me then is on other clothes too. But that's okay. I figure cat hairs are the only kind of fur I'll ever wear.

Last night I had spaghetti and fruit punch Kool-Aid.

I usually do the low voltage/green approach to cooking, I put those funky light bulbs into the fixtures, maybe light a candle and eat.

As usual, the Edster was underfood during the prep, tasting and serving.

Later on I was escorting the Edmeister to bed and noticed the sauce and Kool-aid along the fur on his back.

A few swipes of a wet wash cloth and it was good to have a white cat again!

I do not have a solid white cat, only colors with some white... BUT, I know better that to wear black around the house. Like Mama us to say, "Black grabs everything but MAN or MONEY!"

Lenny is not the lover as some of our others, pure all white, but he is the most vocal about food. He is almost completely deaf but can hear the refridg open from across the house. The thing is he does not want to eat, he just wants too check out what you are going to eat. ET the torty coon cat is the diva. She will growl and hiss to let you know when it is time to have loving, grooming and when it is time to stop. Always only on her terms

    Snugglebugs

My mostly white cat Orlando is a complete tender heart. She snuggles with me and is the most motherly of all my bunch. Here she is snuggling with a warm tea cozy.

Why is a white cat good to own?

A quick bath restores them to their original luster!
