    It's also called Frogmore Stew, but that doesn't sound too appetizing to me

    I spent the last 4 days kicking myself for leaving the beer out of the recipe. I added one 12 ounce can just before putting the food in.

    Yes, Phred. You're supposed to take the peels off before you eat the shrimp. The shells get stuck in your teeth, like popcorn hulls.

    Probably could use peeled shrimp if they were big ones. Easier to dip in melted butter too.

    Someone put a picture of it on the Meetings board. Very nice picture.

    I think b/c she used precooked shrimp they were peeled.
    I never peel my pre-cooked shrimp.
