She's pretty much back to her old self today!!
Her "umbilical hernia" incision was "leaking" fluid but I'm sure it's just from her licking the area and/or running around outside (which I told her NOT to do... but you try telling an Aussie not to run!!). It isn't red and irritated and it looks GREAT so far and she isn't even that interested in licking it a whole lot so hopefully she heals soon!
Unlike Charlie, he licked and scratched his to the point it got infected and was raw for... probably a good two months we had to deal with his. Even with an e-collar, he would break or rip off every one I could get on him and it was bad ><

She really shouldn't be running around, whether she feels like it or not. A spay is a pretty major surgery. The external incision's healing is important, but it's all the internal sutures you need to worry about. The outside usually heals quickly. 


yeah umbilical hernias can cause mental problems, it did with a catahoula named Kavu we adopted out where I work. he's awesome but he's always been slow but I love him.
