    My first thought was why doesn't she adopt another cat to keep this guy company? I know that's more difficult than it sounds, but it's a thought.

    I thought of that, too, but if she can't afford to move, she may not be able to afford another cat either. Critters are 'spensive! LOL

    I'm with y'all--my ancient, deaf MamaCat is LOUD, but it's not that often. A friend for that boy is an EXCELLENT idea, but I have no idea why she wouldn't do that.

    If it were me, I'd get rid of the landlord & keep the cat!!
