Once upon a time it cost me less than $20 to fill my car

I know I have no room to complain as I have a car that gets about 45 mpg lol (50 if its running really good, 55 if I have a tailwind ) and a fillup DOES last me over a month if I don't go out of town but still YARGH!
I have HUGE road trips I have to take this summer. I was going to rent a car for them but forget that! I'll just put the work into mine lol.
Poor little car already has made a 600 mile trip and a 400 mile trip since I moved here.
