I got a flyer in the mail from Mario Andretti and Jeff GOrdon.
They need 350 dollars from me.
The only thing I have to do is to drive down the AutoClub race track and drive one of their cars around the track.
I'm not a fan of either so I'll have to use the money for something else.

I got one of those flyers too. It's in the trash right now.
This year the Nashville Speedway was allowing all season ticket holders the chance to drive their own personal vehicle around the track. I'd been a season ticket holder for the past few years but didn't renew this year. That might have been fun though.

At the Saugus Speedway, since closed and made into a swap meet, they used to host a segment -and I cannot remember the name for it - where fans could come out and race their vehicles to try and set the lap record. Oh, I would love to......I want to do it in a truck, I know the Petty Experience has a truck ride....right now I can't afford the the gas!

Congrats to Kasey! It was neat to see him come from the vote to win.
What a boring race though....not a single caution! There was some good side by side racing, but it just got too strung out. THe most exciting thing was betting on which JGR engine would blow up nextDon't know what the new engine package was, but let's trash it now!!!

They were probably trying something different because of the shorter distance of this race. I'm sure it won't make it into a points paying race ever.
