    Yup, that's what it is. One of an ever growing collection of glass rods!

    Glacier, I wish you'd put a notice and pics in your Etsy store about your memorial beads!! I just told somebody about them and had to copy/paste stuff out of this post to get her the info. You can also get a FREE ad at http://handicappedpet.net/class/ for them, and you can put up pics (please do). If you do, however, let me know because I have to OK the ad & pics; otherwise, they won't show up. The only sale I've made from the HP ads is the one we did to test it, but it's free, and simple, too.

    WW!!

    I'm in tears ... the Fire Brigade has arrived!

    They're BEAUTIFUL, Tamara! {{{Hugs}}}

    We've got:
    * The Chief, in his white helmet,
    * "Spotty", the Dalmation/Husky Mascot
    * The Hoseman - carrying his yellow hose
    * The Axeman - carrying his axe
    * The Engineer - watchin the guages on the truck

    I'm trying to take snappies of the Crew ... Tamara not only makes beautiful 'Guins,
    she takes better pictures than I do ... we're workin on the snaps.

    IMPRESSIVE Collection, Musher Girl!
    You did GOOD!
    (And I didn't send you nearly enough in compensation!
    We'll fix that, somehow.)

    ** Miz TamaraLyn doesn't know it yet, but she's been "commissioned" to
    build the whole Penguin Fire Department, Yukon Station ...
    * Fire 'Guin with Axe (above)
    * Fire 'Guin with Hose
    * Fire 'Guin carrying Ladder
    * CHIEF Fire 'Guin walkin the Mascot - a *Spotted* Husky
    * Fire TRUCK to ride in

    More suggestions for The Firefighter Penguin series will be gladly accepted.

    I also told her she NEEDS to develop a way to *engrave* these critters
    with a very distinctive Artist's *MARK* to indicate they're a Glacier Original.
    Laser Etching, anyone?

    Hmm, maybe have them come with a little white card, hand-signed and dated with her name, and the penguin's name! (And one piece of husky-fur taped to the back for authentification's sake!

    Karen alerted me to your post, I think I remember this thread now that I see your original post. I may have even posted in this thread, haha. I'm going right now to check your shop out!

    Glacier:
    I'm looking at your Pet Memorial Beads and wondering about putting a little bit of fur inside instead of cremains. Is that possible? I can't tell from the picture but are the beads at all transparent? If fur were to be inside would it show from the outside? I'm very interested in ordering a pendant.

    One other thing about the PM Beads. What if I ordered one and a year later I wanted to add another bead in memory of another pet. What are the chances of me sending it back and having you add one?
    Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

    Sorry, I didn't see this til now(Thanks, Karen).

    I can't work with fur. Unfortunately, it just burns in the flame. The beads can be transparent. The ones on my Etsy site right now are a colored core encased with clear glass.

    Sending a pendant back to add more beads would be no problem at all.
