I am so sorry to hear your Mom is having to deal with this. I'm sure she has the best of care and a family that is there to support her in every way. Don't feel guilty about being in shock - she is your mother and you love her - it's completely understandable. I know you will be a tower of strength for her whether you realize or not.

My thoughts and prayers are with you, your Mom and your family. Take each day as it comes and treasure the moments.

(((hugs))) Tonya, my mom had cancer too, and I also felt very conflicted. Like Slick said, it also brings the opportunity to refocus priorities. My mom & I had some of our closest times as she went through treatments. Just take it a day at a time, and you will all get through it. And you've got about a thousand shoulders to cry on whenever you need to here on PT. You'll be in my prayers.
