I'm with you about how all you hear about are how "bad" the soldiers are... that's because the media doesn't want to portray the good side, only the bad... the bad side is what gets publicity... not that it shouldn't, but it shouldn't be represented as "a US Soldier did this" - ex, the puppy thread... it should be "look what this sorry excuse for a human being did". For every one "bad" soldier you hear about, there are HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS of "good" ones.

That soldier was amazing for what she did. She is more than deserving of that award!!
