Rachel, yes Zack had the big snip yesterday. I posted in dog health for that one. He is doing super today.

Leslie, I think Janna said that he is a big boy. I can't remember what the akc standard is for collies. Yesterday he weighed in at 72.7 pounds. I think he is also slightly taller than Katie. Last time Katie was measured I THINK she was at 24 inches. I'll have to try and measure them all.

Yes.. he is a big boy! He is roughly 26" tall at the shoulders... He has also gained a couple pounds since he got his rabies vax down here a few weeks ago LOL but male collies are typically 24-26" tall and 60-75lbs (from the Collie breed standard)... females are 22-24" tall and 50-65lbs. Zack was my biggest male, though Ben, who lives with my mom is the same height as Zack, Zack is bigger bodied... with a broader chest... so he weighs more. Ben is usually 65lbs max....

Paris (who is a Zack daughter) is my biggest female at around 60-65lbs and 23 1/2 MAYBE 24" tall... she is about as close to a female version of Zack as you can get... and she is a large female, but next to Zack she looks MUCH smaller, because he is such a big, filled out, masculine dog... and of course they ALL think they are lap dogs... ask Robin, they were crawling all over her and the couch when she was here last Saturday! LOL
