Randi, he was found as a stray so who knows how this happened. My vet at the time said it could be that his ear was marked like this when he was neutered because they may have thought that he was part of a feral colony or maybe he was in a cat fight. I think it gives him a lot of character and it reminds me of his rough start in life.
