No, we did not get married in a church. Neither of us is traditionally religious, and neither of us attends a particular church. If we would have married in a church, we would have basically been picking one at random out of the phone book. We felt that woudl be more than a little phony and hypocritical.
We got married in the ballroom at the Holiday Inn, because that was where we had our reception immediately following. It was nice and simple that way, no driving around, and they set up everything for us.
