Oxford Registry Office. I had been very religious until studying in Oxford - a classic place to change your faith or lose it or gain it, and T. was very anti-religion at the time. I made my own outfit from a Vogue designer pattern and had to be sewn into the top because I didn't finish it on time. There were no rings and I didn't change my name. After the ceremony, my brother turned to me and said "that's it?!"

I'd never wanted a big church wedding and find weddings in general to be really boring.
