- Where did you marry and why?
Back yard of my parent's house. Partly to save money. Partly because my old next door neighbor was a minister and he felt like a second father to me. I wanted to have him officiate, even though he was not our denomination (hubby's Protestant and I'm Catholic, the minister was something all together different, still not sure what he is) Mr. H had moved to the south and actually flew back to Pennsylvania to officiate in my wedding.

All my Catholic friends were having a fit about me not marrying in the church. I hated the idea of being married by a man I didn't know anything about (a random priest). I wanted someone I knew to perform the ceremony. I wouldn't have had it any other way
