    Thank you, everyone. Your kind words means so much to me.

    Thank you all for your compliments about my daddy. He would have loved to read those. And for calling him "Sir" ... for some reason it just made me sob to see that.

    His memorial service is Wednesday. I wrote his eulogy last night. That was so hard. I hope it is going to sound ok.




    Logan - Thank you. That was a very nice thing to say.

    gini - My dad used to call me that, as well. Seeing you post that was so incredibly sad. No one will ever call me that again, either.

    dukedogsmom - I believe he has sent us several signs.

    Karen - that was lovely, thank you.

    Catty1 - Oh yes, he did, all the time!

    Medusa - I understand that as well. How dare life go on?!?!

    Moosmom - that is indeed a VERY apt description of our dads!

    I am so very sorry! You could tell in his pictures that he was a sweet and gentle man! I know it hurts so very deeply and I pray that God will ease that pain and replace it with happy memories in time.
