carole ~ Sorry, I don't have any photos of the house with me. But, I did find one of the master bedroom (before we remodeled it).

See that door in the back? That is the door to the master closet. The closet was located on the east wall -- right were the million dollar view is! So, we had the closet ripped out and relocated. We put in a window and that little nook is now my office. And this is the view from my office:

Don't people think when they build a house? Why would I only want 1 window in the master bedroom? And that 1 window looks out onto the roof of the house next door? When, I could relocated the closet and look at gorgeous mountains all the time?

Anyway, we're very happy with how it came out.

Very nice!! And such a breathtaking view.

So since Glacier is dealing with -40 temps, what was the temp when those photos were taken?

I think if we put my office view in front of your office view we would achieve perfection!

That would be perfect! I wonder if I could photoshop Eddie and Edwina into my office window? I promise to turn up the heat for them.

They may have forgotten...but they are both Chicagoans by birth...and Chicago street children at that. They ONCE were accustomed to the cold!

It's a bit difficult to think of Edwina as a "street child" - but then that might explain her attitude.

I think putting Kuhio's view together with your office view would be pure perfection. Throw in a moose or two - what more could you want?

Very nice house, and great view! I would love to come up to Alaska some time to look around, is the view like that all over alaska? Your neighbors must like you to follow you lol. I watched this movie called Snow Dogs about the iditarod, i would love to watch it. Do they show it on tv at all?

I know a lot of film/TV crews will be following the Iditarod. Since it can last 10-15 days, sports channels may have daily updates and then show clips after it's all over. For the best updates, I suggest the Iditarod website. You can also get the background on the mushers and their dogs.
