Kim, I have never had a problem with crystals in my boys so I am no help there. I did want to compliment you on your gorgeous stair decoration. Oh, and the lights are pretty too. My Andy would be eating that garland so I have never been able to have any around. I have a fake fiberoptic tree and he has been known to eat pieces of that too! Hope you are wrong about Pouncer.
