Ooh, okay - make yourself a good strong cup of tea. You don't even have to drink it, just inhale the steam, that'll help with the head cold (tea with lemon and honey if you're a tea drinker), and rest the mug on the sore knee - the warmth might feel good! Make sure there's a towel or fabric between the knee and the mug though - don't need to burn the skin and add insult to injury! (Reminding myself that you are in Florida, so might be wearing shorts!)
