What's "Sweetest Day?" When was it? I have no clue what it is.

It's not really a big deal; it is a non-holiday created by Hallmark. It's just a "special day" for couples to express feelings or be romantic to each other; kind of like Valentine's Day. I wasn't really expecting anything out of it, I forgot about it until Mike mentioned it. I actually forgot to give him the card yesterday.. but luckily I remembered to give to him before he left to drive home!

I celebrated Sweetest Day by washing my car, because it was a nice day. :-|

We do nothing. I arrived in Michigan many years ago, and someone mentioned Sweetest Day. I had never heard of it - guess it must be a mid-west thing.

I finally figured out it's simply a day invented by someone in order to sell cards and candy and flowers.

I spent Sweetest Day with 3 very close friends camping at my parent's house and carving pumpkins. Here we are:

I started making a card for the boyfriend...but I never finished it. But I didn't feel so bad, he tried making me oragami flowers and couldn't figure it out so he gave up. Haha...I like to believe it was the thought that counts.
