Gini - here is a link I found:
http://www.maple-tree.com/
On that page, there's a menu on the left at the top of the article, and you can click on 'types of maples'.
Calling the tree people might help too!![]()

Catty1 thanks for the link.
Her papa was a Norwegian maple. When I first moved to this home I made it a point to find out what kind of tree papa was.
Bump.
I want to know how Baby Maple is doing. Any uppydates??? Pictures?? Has she grown much????
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Baby Maple is coming along and some of her new leaves are much larger than before. However, she is losing some of her lower leaves. I will take more pictures of her in her new home - but it might be a bit before I can get to it.
She is being lovingly cared for - you can be sure.
Isn't it wonderful that baby Maple is growing!I know that with your tender love and care, she'll survive! A place on the deck sounds just right!

Losing lower leaves is good - it means she is growing more new leaves up top and developing a TRUNK!
Hmm...where would one get a training bra for a small maple?...hmmm![]()
