Sometimes that is the frustrating part on the board. Someone resurects an old old post, but since it has new replies you don't think to checks the dates, and I've been guilty of that myself. Other types of boards I've been to delete posts after a certain period of non activity. It's hard to remember to check dates on all the posts.

Still, it brings up good points if someone is browsing. Nothing wrong with keeping old threads around. It was staying ON topic. I actually think there is no point in making a new thread if there is an old thread already made about the topic no matter how old the thread is. I readily use the search function before making a new topic.
